We are pleased to announce that on 5^th June 2016, the Grants Committee of The Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust (GHCT) awarded The Great Badminton Church Restoration Fund a grant of £5,000 towards Phase 1 of our restoration project.
Phase 1 of the project is to rewire the entire church, replacing the ancient and dangerous fuse boxes, distribution boards and wiring with modern equivalents; and the installation of underpew heating. With this grant we are now able to make a start on the rewiring work in October 2016.

The cheque was formally presented to the Churchwardens of Badminton on Sunday, 31^stJuly during the 11:15am mattins service at St. Michael and All Angels, Great Badminton by Mrs Jane Jenner-Fust of The Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust. Following the service the congregation was invited to a celebratory drinks party, which was held at Badminton House by kind permission of Her Grace The Duchess of Beaufort.
