Warrior - The Real War Horse

Warrior – The Real War Horse

The Real War Horse Talk by Brough ScottWarrior – The Real War Horse was a wonderful presentation given by Brough Scott about the life and experiences of a real war horse. Warrior was owned by Mr Scott’s grandfather, Major-General Jack Seeley, 1st Baron Mottistone, who took his horse with him to France in the First World War.

The talk was full of interesting and often amusing anecdotes about both General Seeley and Warrior, the real war horse, and their experiences both in the War and elsewhere.

After the talk guests had the opportunity to meet Brough Scott and buy a signed copy of his book about Warrior: The Amazing Story of A Real War Horse.

The talk was followed by a delicious venison supper, in Badminton House’s Old Kitchens, where people were able to discuss Warrior – The Real War Horse and catch up with friends. A great evening was had by all.

Thanks go to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort for hosting the evening and to Brough Scott for presenting his talk so eloquently.
